Please work BELOW the line.
Decided I don't need to do this:
TO DO: * ??? How can I (Can I) make the sources be a page (or whatever) that references go to, so it doesn't have to be repeated on each page??? (and then get back) → See: Wikipedia:Footnotes → Or "sub-pages"? See "subpages"?
TO DO: *standardize the ref. format✔ *Wictionary.org's Index:Bulgarian has an "Index"-bar with clickable links that take you to each letter, on a sub-page. But I don't understand how this works yet. Code starts with:✔ (found and used Index/Bulgarian instead)
{| class="buttonlinks" style="font-size:1.1em; text-align:center; border:0; width:95%; float:right;" |- | а б
Cribbed from Wictionary's Main Page. Code starts out as shown below (to see it all, look at this in Edit). Note that, when code from Wiktionary is pasted directly here, these "Special" pages now refer to this Wiki, not to Wiktionary!
<div style="padding:10px;padding-right: 0px;"> <div style="border: solid #AABBDD 3px; background-color:#E9F3FF; padding:10px;"> <div style="border-bottom: 1px solid #AAAAAA;font-size:150%;padding-bottom:2px"><span style="float:left;margin-top:-20px;margin-left:-20px;"></span>Index</div> <center> <p style="line-height: 110%"><span style="white-space: nowrap;">aA b B etc.…</span></p>
Subsidiary pages are http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Special:PrefixIndex/A (etc.). Each one has complex stuff at the top that lets you navigate (but not the way I want to!)
FORMAT TESTS[]
Table, no border:[]
| баща, татко | father |
| баща, татко | father | |
бабки | стари дребни монети, наниз | tiny old coins, used as decoration | |
Table, with border:[]
"wikitable" is part of the CSS style sheets of Wikipedia...seems to work on some other wiki projects, but not here. Hairline borders are a pain; adding "cellspacing=0" gets you one step closer, I'll add that below.
To do: I'd like to know how to make a hairline border✔
word (origin) [source] |
used (region) |
български | English translation |
---|---|---|---|
[2] | баща, татко | father | |
| баща, татко | father | |
бабки | стари дребни монети, наниз | tiny old coins, used as decoration | |
Wikitable now available![]
…and I figured out to adjust the background! see Help:Table in Wikipedia!!! More to learn there…
this is a header | |
---|---|
this is a cell | this is another cell |
this is another row |
Б[]
N.B. Do NOT put (т.) into italics!!
(En: father) |
(En: tiny old coins, used as decoration)
Another possibility: "Definition-list"[]
Begin with a semicolon. One item per line; a newline can appear before the colon, but using a space before the colon improves parsing. (This would make everything much longer, so I don't think I approve. |
(Other column behaves as normal.) |
"Don't judge yet!" box from orig home page[]
This is still somewhat PRELIMINARY work, please feel free to make suggestions or add material.
THE BASIC MATERIAL IS UP!!!
